What is a Scientific culture? (selon PISA 2006)

The scientific knowledge of the individual and his ability to use his knowledge to identify the questions to which science can provide an answer; To acquire new knowledge; To explain scientific phenomena and to draw conclusions based on facts on scientific questions.

- Understanding the characteristic elements of science as a form of research and human knowledge.

- Awareness of the role of science and technology in the constitution of our material, intellectual and cultural environment.

- The willingness to engage as a deliberate citizen on science-related issues related to science.

 

How to develop a Scientific culture ? 

- Students develop competencies around the practice of scientific approach, document analysis and problem solving.

- Small-scale laboratory teaching is recommended, emphasis is placed on the design and implementation of experimental protocols in the context of problem-response research.
